This list is not conclusive and always a work in progress. If you exhausted all troubleshooting steps provided and still have issues on a new save game with an empty mods folder, please post describing what you have tried. If you have further issues, please post in this thread so other mod users can help you figure out what the issue is or use the 50/50 Method (works for all versions of the Sims) to find faulty mod/cc yourself. To help with all that, this thread contains a list of symptoms and possible culprits. Some mods show (almost) identical symptoms with every patch others show new symptoms with a specific patch
It's also advisable that if you do run into issue to leave the game without saving. This is also recommended if you don't use mods cause there are of course also new game bugs. You lost progress because of the mod and then saved the gameīecause of this, it's very important to make a backup of your saves before every patch.In most cases, removing the outdated mods will fix the game but there are instances where this is not the case Running your save with an outdated mod can lead to serious issues though to the point where you can't even load the game. This is just how mods work and is no one's fault. Some mods are outdated with almost every patch, others hardly ever. With every patch/game update mods/cc become outdated or even obsolete.
